When we arrived up here we discovered there had been a fire in the house that morning. That, along with other concerns, made us decide it wasn't the house for us. So we headed to a storage facility and unloaded there. Next we checked into a motel. Then we looked at one another and said, "Now what?"
I was granted a leave from work, and extended vacation time. We took advantage of it and really checked out the area. It paid off. We found a great house with lots of potential and proceeded to make it our own - Home.
We also decided to take a break from busy life and just spend time together, settle in, relax, sprout and grow.
I am not happy to see the old Blogger interface is finally gone. I do not like the new one - an understatement. So much so I am not sure I will continue blogging here. Time will tell I guess.

Hi there, Max
Welcome back - it's good to hear from you.
It seems a shame about the house you had been intending to move into, but it seems to have worked out for the best in the end. The extended vacation sounds like a great idea in lots of ways.
I hope you will continue blogging, despite the new interface, or at least stay in touch by some other means.
Take care
Mark
